Aimhigher works in 42 areas across the country including Leicester City and County.

Aimhigher Leicester City and Leicestershire works in partnership with local schools, colleges and universities. We work together to raise aspirations of our young people, and improve attainment in schools and colleges. We aim to increase participation in Higher Education (HE) for local targeted students, through activities and experiences, special projects and different routes to HE.

To widen participation in HE, we work with students that wouldn't typically think about university or have little or no experience of someone going to university in their family. 

Last year Aimhigher Leicester City and Leicestershire worked with over 9, 000 young people from over 70 local schools and colleges.
